沙漠里的故事

有一条小蛇，很细的身子，很小的脑袋，它出生在一片沙漠里。
它在滚烫的沙子上，游来游去，用尾巴在大地上画满许多奇怪的符号。它的朋友——风，总是跑在它前面，替它擦出一块干净的画板。
可是，到了晚上，小蛇就不想画画了，沙漠的夜太冷了，它必须找一个睡觉的地方。
它用脑袋在沙子上拱出一个洞，它钻了下去。
它钻啊钻啊，身边的沙子越来越暖了，这些吸饱了太阳光的沙粒，发出只有小蛇才能看到的一片金黄、鲜红、翠绿……
小蛇几乎把整个身子钻进了沙里，但是，它的尾巴不愿意和它一起下去。
“我要和风呆在一起。”尾巴就这样固执地留在了地面上。
但是，小蛇还想去更深的地下看看，于是它让自己又长了几公分。
地下的世界，要比地面上的那个复杂多了，这里有几万年前的动物，它们已经变成了宝石；这里也有几万年前的河流，它们已经变成了水晶。
小蛇的脑袋想看到更多的东西，于是它把脑袋分成了两个，一个去左边，一个去右边。
然后，这两个脑袋很快又遇上了更多更多的东西：变成了奶酪的云，变成了陶瓷碗的山丘，变成了银币的流星，变成了琥珀的森林……
两个脑袋是不够用来看这么多东西的，于是小蛇的脑袋变成了四个、八个、十六个……这些脑袋不断往更深的地下，钻啊钻。
如果这些脑袋不停地钻下去，整个地球就会被它们钻透了，幸好，这样的事没有发生。
在这个夜晚的某一秒钟，小蛇的尾巴冻结成了一根冰棍。
这时，小蛇的一万六千三百八十四个脑袋都停止了生长，因为它们必须想办法让地面上的尾巴暖和起来。
于是……它们同时想到了同样一个办法。
啊呜啊呜，小蛇的每一个脑袋都张开嘴巴，吞下一口藏在地下的好东西，把它们通过软皮水管一样的身体，送到尾巴那里去。
不过，这个传送的过程是很漫长的，就和这个夜晚一样长……算了，还是让我们跳过这一段吧——
是的，尾巴终于收到了脑袋们送来的礼物，虽说这些东西都被身体消化得所剩不多了。
快活得发烫的尾巴一下子膨胀起来，然后，“叭”的一声——冻在尾巴上的冰块裂开了，从尾巴尖尖上冒出来一个小圆包。然后，又是“叭”的一声——小圆包也裂开了……
当太阳懒洋洋地从沙漠后面爬起来的时候，它吃惊地发现，这里多了一朵小小的、淡红色的花儿，正随风摇摆。
可太阳不知道的是，在这朵小花底下，还有一万六千三百八十四个花骨朵，正在往地面上，钻啊钻……不过，这又是另一个很漫长的故事了，它说的也不再是沙漠，而是花园。
